Nov 21, 1938 — Aug 13, 2026
Born on November 21, 1938, in Albany, Texas, Robbie lived a life defined by kindness, faith, devotion to her family, and a genuine love for people. She possessed a rare gift that cannot be taught—she never met a stranger. Whether welcoming someone into her home or visiting with a friend in town, Robbie had a way of making everyone feel comfortable, valued, and at home.
On December 22, 1953, she married the love of her life, H.A. Lawson. Together they built a home filled with love, hard work, and family until his passing on September 23, 2000. Their marriage was a testament to commitment and enduring love.
Robbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, H.A. Lawson; her parents, Robert “Bob” Freeman and Myrtle Freeman; two great-grandsons, Zachary Youngblood and Easton Eckert; her sister, Betty Wells; and her brothers, Bobby Freeman, Archie Freeman, and Horace Freeman.
She leaves behind two sons, Glen Lawson of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Rob Lawson of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, extended family members, treasured friends, and many others whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her.
Those who knew Robbie will remember her gentle spirit, warm smile, and welcoming heart. She found joy in the simple things—time spent with family, visiting with friends, and making people feel loved. Her greatest accomplishment was not measured by awards or possessions, but by the lives she touched through simple acts of kindness and genuine compassion.
Although her family grieves her passing, they take comfort in knowing the love, faith, and values she shared will live on in those who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, Texas.
A visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, and a graveside service will follow immediately after in Pioneer Cemetery in Graham.
